The process of manually processing, analyzing, and verifying churches’ financial data to generate a financial prediction report is time-consuming and, thus, expensive for firms providing financial services. The client sought to automate the manual management of large amounts of raw financial data for multiple churches across the United States by creating a church financial software. The primary objectives were to streamline and automate processes previously conducted in Excel to save the client’s time, improve efficiency, and expand their reach to attract more organizations to use their services.

Solution

TechVision’s journey started with a discovery phase led by our Business Analyst to grasp the client’s objectives, goals, and desired benefits. This was followed by creating tailored, user-friendly designs. We suggested a gradual approach, beginning with developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to capture initial audience interest. After the MVP phase, we developed subsequent application versions with added functionalities.

The outcome was a powerful financial analysis app that empowers users to seamlessly import raw data and receive instant results – informative and detailed reports on financial prospects. This platform allows users to manage church accounting, securely store and share generated financial reports, and collaborate within custom-made teams. To maintain the integrity and confidentiality of financial data handled by the system, we implemented proper data security measures.

Following the implementation period and the successful launch of the initial application version, our client obtained substantial benefits in terms of time efficiency and operational productivity. By refining and automating processes that were previously held manually, they not only increased the scalability and expanded their client base on a paid plan to 40+ organizations but also saw an increase in revenue from service offerings by up to 34%, leading to a significant improvement in overall user satisfaction and client financial services business growth. The new system has significantly reduced the time for church budgeting.
