At the time of engagement, the client – a global orthognathic and oral surgery provider – was using a Drupal-based system to support its core operations, which struggled to handle the growing complexity of the organization’s workflows.

As the company operates across multiple locations, it needed a more reliable system to manage internal patient data, coordinate surgical scheduling, and support communication between medical teams.

The main challenge was to move the existing business logic from the Drupal-based solution to a fully custom-built platform, without disrupting ongoing operations. At the same time, the new system had to provide a foundation for introducing new features in the future.

Our Solution

To address these challenges, the team at TechVision designed and built a custom oral surgery practice management platform to replace the client’s legacy Drupal-based system.

The new solution was developed on a fresh technology stack, with Angular 8 used for the front end, .NET Core for the back end, and AWS as the hosting environment. This gave the client a more flexible foundation for supporting core business processes and made it easier to extend the system over time.
