Project Overview
Grant discovery and management is a complex and time-consuming process. Finding relevant opportunities, reviewing detailed requirements, and tracking applications across multiple sources is difficult to manage, especially at scale.
TechVision worked with a US-based grant consulting firm to build a solution that simplifies grant discovery and supports a more structured, scalable approach.
Read our grant discovery case study to find out how we helped the client turn a manual workflow into a SaaS platform for internal use and monetization.

Business Needs
The client relied on a largely manual process to identify and assess grant opportunities. Their team searched government portals such as Grants.gov, reviewed lengthy Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs), and determined eligibility on a case-by-case basis. These documents often ran dozens or even hundreds of pages, making the process time-consuming and difficult to scale.
The team used a mix of manual research, basic Python scripts, and human review to go through large volumes of grant data, categorize opportunities, and prepare tailored eligibility reports. While this approach worked, it limited how many organizations they could support.
The client also wanted to go beyond a consulting-based model and build a SaaS platform that organizations, grant writers, and funding strategists could use on their own. This required a centralized system that could automate funding data collection, simplify complex requirements, and help users quickly identify relevant opportunities.
We support. We improve.
TechVision developed Grant Solutions Hub, a web-based platform that helps organizations, grant writers, and funding teams find, track, and manage grant opportunities in one place.
We built a scalable platform with a Django backend and a React/Next.js frontend. To centralize the data, we integrated complex automated scrapers and direct API connections to pull daily updates from Grants.gov, SAM.gov, the Federal Register, official IRS foundation filings (Form 990-PF), and other sources.
We developed a proprietary four-factor Matching Algorithm that compares a user’s profile (applicant type, budget needs, timeline, and project goals) against the massive grant database. It provides a precise “Match Score” and a personalized “Selected for You” list.
The platform features dashboards where users can track their grant pipeline, including opportunities in progress, submitted applications, funding outcomes, useful Intelligence updates, and more.
For the operational side, we integrated the SyncFusion document editor, allowing teams to dynamically generate, modify, and hide proprietary sections of the documents and grant applications before securely sharing them with clients within the platform. This removes the need for external tools and keeps sensitive information in one secure environment.
Access to the platform requires a paid subscription, so we implemented a subscription system using Stripe, supporting monthly, annual, and lifetime plans.

As a result, the client moved from a manual, consulting-based workflow to a scalable SaaS platform. Tasks that previously required manual research and review are now handled automatically, reducing the team’s workload and allowing them to support more users.
By automating the collection of grant data (8,500+ active grants) and simplifying complex requirements into clear summaries, the platform makes it easier for users to navigate funding opportunities. Instead of working through multiple government portals, users can now access relevant grants in one place and see which options fit their needs.
The matching system enables users to receive tailored recommendations based on their profiles, helping them focus on the most relevant options.
Today, the platform operates as a fully functional subscription-based product, supporting a growing user base and providing an efficient approach to grant discovery and management.
Moving from manual workflows to a digital platform can open up new opportunities. By combining automated data collection, clear summaries, and tailored matching, the client now has a grant discovery platform that supports both internal workflows and a growing user base.
